Photographic fees are a client's cost to license the right to use a photographer's work. Photographers, like all artists, own the copyright to their work. Rights packages vary by the type of usage and the value that the architectural or interior photography brings to our client. We archive the original digital photography files and require that our clients order prints for portfolio and display use through us. This enables us to maintain the quality level of the reproduction of our photography.
Parties not involved in the initial photography assignment may want to purchase usage rights in the aftermath of a shoot. These parties are referred to as "third parties". Third parties inquiring about photo use should contact our studio to negotiate a usage fee. This includes the use of photography for real estate marketing of a home.
